The vision for Women and Men of Purpose is based on Judges 4:4-9

The mission for Women and Men of Purpose is to provide spiritual guidance to women and men
all across the nations of the world in order to empower them to seek and fulfill
God's purpose for their lives.
Prior to the new name change, "Women and Men of Puropse," the ministry, "Women of Purpose" was birthed through much prayer and fasting. For two years,
God had placed upon Pastor Debbie's heart a vision to launch a women's ministry
where women would gather once a month to discuss issues and challenges facing
women today and how to successfully overcome these issues, as well as empowering
women in business to soar higher and take their business to another level where
God wants it to be through a God given marketing idea known as “Market Place
Networking.”Through much prayer the vision of Women of Purpose was confirmed by the Holy
Spirit and the ministry was launched in February 2009 in Maryland.
As the monthly gatherings began to hold in Florida and Maryland, men also began to attend these meetings in large numbers despite the fact that they were for women only.Thus on November 22, 2009, the Lord delivered a prophetic word during the 1st Women of Purpose Conference through an anointed prophet of God that the men should be included as part of this ministry. And so following confirmation from the Holy Spirit, Pastor Debbie changed the name from"Women of Purpose" to the new name "Women and Men of Purpose."
